I tested at 10DPO and got a BFN but tested again at 12DPO and got a BFP. Good luck!

Thanks for the support everyone. I got some spotting this morning on 13dpo, this is pretty typical for me, and I'll probably have a full blown AF tomorrow night. Guess we'll try again next month. I'm bummed out, and a little scared...I hope it really was just some crazy timing issues...and not something more serious. I use Kindara though, so I was able to time BD pretty well, we had sex the day of ovulation, but not the day before. That is the only day we missed actually lol...and maybe that was the day. Who knows.

So I tested on what I thought was 14dpo or CD27 and got a :bfn: then 5 days later my temps sky rocketed and i tested again 18dpo or CD31 and got a positive. My guess is Fertility friend got my O date wrong and ovulated 4-5 days later.

@Tionn3: I got faint positives at 8 and 9 DPO, but I tend to have a shorter time between ovulating and period. Most people I know who tested early didn't get anything until 12-14 DPO. But this current pregnancy, I definitely felt like my period was coming (seriously bloated, horribly bitchy, acne) and I was pregnant. So it could happen!

LOTS of people get a BFN prior to a BFP, so you are still in the game. But it can take many cycles even with perfect timing, so don't get discouraged if this isn't it.

@LatteLove: I'm 12 dpo right now. I don't feel any different. The only weird thing is that instead of having sore breasts that peak out in the middle of my lp and then subside as I get closer to my period, it seems to be going the opposite direction. I barely had any breast tenderness until 2 days ago and it seems to be getting worse. My sister in law who is pregnant right now said it just felt like she was getting her period when she tested positive.

I didn't get a line until 12 dpo (despite testing multiple times at 9 and 10dpo). Was pregnant every time I tested! (but I tested because I definitely felt pregnant)

@Tionn3: Oh! That's awesome. In that case, you may just be testing a little too early. I generally only got positives once I missed a period. Good luck! I hope I see you posting soon with a BFP!!

@Mrs. Cereal: I've been off bc since July 2013, and have been charting for about a year now, so I'm pretty dialed into my cycles now, with the exception of a couple blips here and there.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you just came off of birth control, that can affect your cycle too. It took me a few months to have a normal cycle again.

thanks! My LP is usually 14-15 days so it was probably too early.

For some 10 DPO is too early! I myself had a super faint line at 10 DPO and I know many who didn't have a positive. Maybe test again later! Good luck!

This is my first month TTC and I'm supposed to get my period on Saturday. I tested at 10dpo with a CVS early pregnancy test, and it came back negative. Has anyone had a bfn before a bfp? I'm starting to think that maybe this just isn't our month (even though I timed BD pretty well). I physically feel pretty good, despite my sore boobs (that's not unusual though), which is also why I don't think it happened. Looking for support. I gotta figure out a way to relax otherwise this is going to turn into a not so fun journey.
