@tinypiglet ah! Oatmeal is what I've eaten every morning for about 2 years since my son was born. Now I can't stand the sight of it! Fig Newtons might be a good idea. Not too smelly or mushy. I've got something against mushy-ness!

@glimmersnaps: Here are some thoughts for breakfast: dry cereal, oatmeal, toast with peanut butter, bananas, bagel with butter? All fairly bland and easy on the tummy for the most part.

When I was feeling kind of icky in the mornings a few weeks ago, I would actually have a couple of Fig Newtons before leaving for work. They were substantial enough to tide me over until I got to the office and could determine what sounded appealing for breakfast (usually oatmeal with bananas and brown sugar). For some reason they went over fine, as opposed to Nutrigrain bars, which were totally not appealing for some reason.

Oh goodness I'm reading to get some ideas of what to eat, but now I feel nauseous. So I can't eat any dairy-- no milk or yogurt and very little cheese--or else I vomit immediately. :/ It was the same way last time.

I'm sort of at a loss for what to eat, especially for breakfast!

I have a sandwich craving, but I don't know what kind. I am also eating roasted pumpkin seeds, nuts, dried mangoes, spicy pretzels, and lots of sparkling water.

I was nauseous, but never actually got sick. I could eat a lot of things even though it was tough to get down. But the foods I actually enjoyed eating were really cold grapes or berries, bananas and eggs. I loved eggs! On the few days where absolutely nothing sounded like it would go down, I did have some rice and/or tortilla chips. Only one more week and I am done with this first trimester business!

Carbs! Bagels, noodles, pizza, waffles... I also always want Chinese food. Stuff rarely tastes as good as it sounds in my head, however.

I'm pretty sure I'm a freak of nature, because everything tastes good! Sweets don't taste AS good as they used to, but I'm not having trouble eating anything. Salty stuff tastes especially yummy. Either I got *really* lucky and am skipping the morning sickness, or it's going to hit with a vengeance here in the next week lol...

I drank a lot of soup, and tried to stomach some noodles because they were soft and seemed easy to digest! Everything else made me sick... I couldn't believe it when I had a natural aversion to coffee and sweets!!

I have been all about carbs and cheese for the past few weeks, mostly. Grilled cheese, pizza, toast, raisin bran (odd?), and donuts. Some balanced diet, huh?! I managed to finally eat some peas and corn at dinner tonight, and I was so proud!

The list of foods that I am able to eat without gagging with every bite is ridiculously small. It also changes from hour to hour. Eating has become a necessary evil that I dread throughout the day.

Do you have any go-to foods that you can get down pretty easily?
