The bottom line is that we won't pay more than $2500 out-of-pocket from 1/1-12/31, and that includes everything ( prenatal tests, screenings, hospital stays, etc.) For us the MaterniT21 test is optional and we'll pay probably $200ish, but the info is too important that we'd be willing to " splurge" if need be. Most of those types of scans need to be pre-authorized. But I had not, and am pregnant over two different years (yayyyy double deductible for the same effing pregnancy...).
