@cait: Ah in that case it's probably harder that she is older and more aware!

Thanks for the tips!

LO is 3 and has a good understanding of people getting sick and needing rest, but just not for days on end (except for with her great grandparents, and I definitely don't want her thinking/worrying it's anything like that). I'm also a little nervous that she'll say something about how sick I've been to our family & friends - she's very chatty haha.

Not sure how old your daughter is, but there's a Daniel Tiger episode where Mom Tiger gets sick and that helped my daughter sort of start to understand that sometimes people get sick and need to rest / not do much. Good luck!

I just felt so shitty but E didn't understand. Will your LO understand that you don't feel well? I was able to get E to stop riding me like a horse and bouncing on my tummy but she kept wanting to do it for awhile.

Diclegis was my BFF in the first trimester. Most amazing thing ever.

Bumping this because I know someone's got to have some advice! I'm having trouble dealing with mornings with LO when I'm a mix of exhausted, nauseous, and needing to eat right. this. minute. I think it will be better when I can explain to her why I'm feeling how I do and why I can't be as active as she wants, but I don't want to do that until I'm a little further along.

I'm a WAHM expecting #2 and I'm wondering what tips you might have for dealing with morning sickness, exhaustion, and all that fun stuff with a LO? Particularly ones that don't include LO knowing about the pregnancy since I don't want to tell her for a few more weeks.
