We did what @Truth Bombs: indicated. We actually do this each year (DH also has a notary at work so its easy) for all three sets of grandparents and for the one babysitter we use for overnights.</p> <p>As for wills and guardianship docs. DH and I discussed and feel comfortable that my Mom would take custody of DD...we have casually mentioned to my dad and my ILs and everyone seems comfortable with that. My parents will be staying at our house with him. What documents should I have prepared before the trip so I have peace of mind? I know we need a will and guardianship papers for longterm thinking, but do I need to do anything specific for this stay (ie- what if he needs to go to the dr. while we are gone? ) </p>
