I just upgraded to a Charge HR. I love it. It can track exercise like my dance cardio class a lot better because of the HR monitor.

I got one for Christmas and I love it. I just like knowing if I need to move around a bit more. It does annoy me that when I put in other exercise it doesn't count towards my active minutes (Like if I do an hour yoga class...)

Also, I push a stroller a lot and I've noticed it doesn't calculate as well - or if I am holding the LO it doesn't either. I always try to swing that arm as I push so that it calculates correctly.

@jedeve: Good question. I've actually never used one so I can't tell you how it would work. I would think that enough people would have complained by now about this that hopefully they would have fixed the bug in the newer ones.

@MUI831: if you put it in your pocket it for a stroller walk would that count steps?

I asked for one for Christmas but didn't realize the FitBit Charge HR (the one with the heart rate monitor) doesn't come out until early this year. So I'm waiting for that one. I've heard that it can be an issue with not counting steps while pushing a stroller but my dad said that his doesn't have an issue when he's pushing the lawnmower. Hopefully they're getting better!

@AprilFool: oh good point about the stroller. Maybe if we go for a walk today I'll put it on my ankle?

I think it counts my time in a rocking chair as steps!

I used mine all summer and did really well with it but since September, it's been sitting on my dresser - I'm not sure why! But this has inspired me to get back into using it.

I really like mine! Just got it for Christmas...and its a great tool to help me get moving. I sit all day long at work, so it's been fun finding excuses to get up and walk. It seems to work pretty seamlessly with My Fitness Pal too, which is nice for tracking food.

I find it pretty frustrating sometimes as I am usually pushing a stroller/cart and it doesn't calculate that properly. I find it pretty buggy though, last night I put it into sleep mode but it didn't track sleep and when I tracked my exercise in my fitness pal this morning I lost my active minutes, which is really stupid because I was obviously active.

It has made me realise how much more activity I need to do which is a good thing.

I have a love hate thing with mine. Something in the way I move doesn't trigger steps, so it's frustrating and makes me stomp.

I love mine! It proved to me that I was moving more than I thought, but still need a daily 30 min workout to hit 10,000 steps a day (even with a toddler). I have it import into the MyFitnessPal app, which I like because it adjusts my calories for my everyday activity as well as my exercise. Also it has great battery life, so I can just leave it on all the time - no more forgetting to put it on or losing it!

So I got a fitbit for Christmas. I'm not 100% sure why DH got me it...I always say I want to sit down more during my day, haha. But it's been kind of fun. Makes me realize how active I am trying to keep up with two under two.

Any fitbit users out there? What do you like about it?
