I had considered exclusively pumping so I joined s group and learned a lot and realized it seemed like I was maybe using the wrong size before. My breast is large but my nipples seem small in comparison, and I think I assumed I needed bigger. I was using 36mm and im almost positive there's no way my nipples grow THAT big while pumping... I would say I have regular sized nipples and I got the 24 mm. I think I got the larger sized one as well, and when I pumped with that it hurt. I think my nipple enlarges more when I start pumping. I'll have to wait and see until I deliver to know better. With my son I was using a huge one. I would post a photo but I think it might get flagged. I posted in an exclusive pumper group on favebook so hipefully they have some insight. I think I used the wrong size flange sith my son. I assumed I had a large nipple but in fact i actually think i have normal or even small ones! The problem I have for sizing in reference to the medela photos is that my nipple doesn't even make it into the tunnel of the flange. I don't have flat nipples.. It's just like, my boob is too big to get far enough in to reach the tunnel. </p> <p>I'm hesitant to post a photo but I'm hoping someone can understand what I'm saying! </p>
