I'm just curious! My baby girl also seems to have a slight flat head because she prefers eating on one side and is a swaddled back sleeper still (4 months old) my girl also shows ZERO interest in rolling over but wants to sit up constantly when awake! The position of an infant’s head needs to be changed throughout the day so that they do not begin to favor a certain area of the head, which can ultimately lead to the development of a flat spot on the head as you are noticing and elongated neck muscles on one side. Because you are already seeing these symproms, you may want to speak to your pediatrician about the possible treatment options. There are plenty of techniques you can implement:hen feeding your son, try alternating the arm you hold him in, and encourage him to turn his head to a different side each time he is fed. Alternate the side of the changing table you stand on when changing his diaper to encourage him to turn his head in alternate directions in order to look at you. Make sure to keep implementing plenty of supervised “tummy time” during the day, and try massaging your son's neck when he is relaxed and calm to encourage stretching on both sides of the neck. Finally, try to place interesting and stimulating toys in new locations around his crib/room so he will have to turn his head different directions in order to see the toys. Physical therapy might be another option to discuss with your pediatrician. My LO has a bubble head and I swear it helped him keep the roundness. lol. I used it on his car seat and changing table too. We switched his head position when he slept too. At around 4 months she learned how to flip onto her belly. My LO had an assymetric head because she slept on her side a lot.
