<description>&#60;p&#62;I don't think they are very safe.  We just hold LO when he's in the pool.  I don't like floats either because I feel like parents use the float as a babysitter and don't watch their children.  My husband was a lifeguard and most of the &#34;saves&#34; he did were related to children in floats being unsupervised and flipping over.
