Mostly for grown up seating when playing on the floor w lo-- much comfier than sitting straight on the ground. I'm considering buying a few for our playroom, which is where the girls watch TV (the kids don't use the family room unless we are doing a family movie). I'll eventually move the small sofa from the family room into the playroom, but even then I think it may be there more for grown up seating (i.e. Facing the kids playing, not facing the tv)....and it may be awhile before I decide on a sectional and move the sofa anyway! </p> <p>BUT - I'm not sure if, in practice, anyone, particularly kids, would even use the cushions....or if they'd just be clutter. </p>
