We bought one during M's first real cold and used it maybe 5x. MAYBE. We just don't have dry enough weather to really feel the need for it. When she was really stuff, we would take her into a hot, steamy bathroom and run the shower until the water went cold. Our pediatrician recommended the cool mist vaporizer when she was sick. We used the Vicks brand one. We used it a few times. The problem we ran into was that the water reservoir wasn't large enough to last all night though. We did not register/use, however LO just got his first cold. Our pediatrician reccommended a humifier to help clear up the cold.</p> <p>We bought a vicks one then but actually didnt end up using it.<br /> I would say it doesn't hurt to register, but think of it for occasional medicinal use vs daily use.
