@mediagirl: Teeth are my life... well 8 hours outa my day I'm cleaning and flossing teeth. I like to think of myself as HB's resident dental hygienist :)

I just became a regular flosser too! I've been doing it for a couple of months. I look in the mirror. DH makes fun of me because I'm always making weird faces in the mirror while I floss.

I have to unwind the floss a little bit more than when I am flossing my front teeth. Open your mouth wide and unwind so you have longer piece in between your fingers and stick it farther back there. Mirror helps and drool is inevitable, just lean over the sink.

I use my tongue to pull (push?) the floss to the back.

I don't have a problem flossing in the back, but my husband uses the picks as well--maybe those would be good for you!

Are you using the string or dental picks? I use dental picks and have no issues getting to them!

Practice practice practice! Oh and look into the mirror it'll make it a little easier to get to your back teeth because you'll be able to see. If that doesn't help or if you get discouraged you can try the floss on a handle, only thing is that it's not bendable so you might miss the corners/line angles of your teeth! Yay to flossing!

I have decided to become a regular flosser, for the first time in my life.

I have no trouble flossing most of my teeth, but the ones in the back are super hard to get to. I think maybe I have to look in the mirror? Or maybe I just need more experience?

Any flossers out there: how do you get at the gaps in your back teeth?
