My Mom will bring or send this later as a hosting gift. I have two and we always put them out for overnight guests. http://www.crateandbarrel.com/bedside-carafe-with-glass/s500550

I can't take care of plants to save my life. Succulents are REALLY easy though and so pretty. I'd do that! :)

I like house plants, maybe something that flowers that could be used as a centerpiece, unless they have allergies. Maybe some nice loose leaf tea? Or fancy chocolate/candy?

I am going to visit an old friend this weekend and staying over 1 night (not taking the kids - yay!).

I will be honest and say we barely talk anymore but still send notes in the mail and birthday gifts.

So, I feel like I don't know her anymore.

With that said, I wanted to bring something so I thought maybe flowers - then I thought maybe everyone doesn't like flowers so a cute succulent? Or maybe something else?

I feel like I should bring something though (I don't think they drink).

thoughts?
