Last year he did not get it because he wasn't old enough to get it until right as the season was winding down and he's not in daycare. He did react and had a pretty good fever all night and most of the next day. :( he was also just super sleepy and needy.</p> <p>Our doctor is not having us return for a second shot though, is that weird? He got it last year at 7 months as well. Last year he was in daycare - this year he goes to preschool 1-2 days a week and we go to music class a d other stuff and I just feel like its not fair to him to expose him to the flu without protecting him with a shot. Also my husband works in a hospital.
