The first time I ever got a flu shot was when I was pregnant with Charlie and I got super sick with flu-like symptoms for 36 hours. She didn't get a flu shot last year because she was really young and we had a privte nanny, but now she's in daycare, which requires she get her flu shot. I imagine we'll go to the clinic in the next few weeks, to get her shot. No reaction last year when she was about 5 months old, but this year she got this weird rash afterwards. The doctors insisted that it wasn't from the flu shot and yet were not able to give any other reason for it. She broke out the same day, got the flu shot in the morning and broke out by the evening. So....I am not convinced. The rash went away and she never got sick so I guess it's ok.
