What is it with husbands not getting the shot? We had a baby in December and I started asking my husband to go get it in the early fall- he didn't actually get it until February and then it was only because I laid the guilt on really thick (he didn't get me a bday present and I said the only thing I wanted was for him to get the damn shot and he STILL didn't until after my bday!). His fever started Wednesday and so far the rest of us have not gotten it yet. I was certain my younger LO would have gotten in by now.<br /> Fingers crossed for you guys! I FREAKED out when she tested positive because I had a 3 month old in the house who was obviously not vaccinated. But luckily, he was totally fine. We got Tamiflu for my daughter and her fever broke that night, so it worked really well for us. And I just nursed my son non stop to help build up those antibodies. Now he has been diagnosed with the flu this morning. We have a 6 month old at home that got her first flu shot 3 weeks ago. She is scheduled to have her 2nd booster in 10 days. Pediatrician says that there is a chance that she will catch the flu. I know that some of it depends on the strand of flu and if it was in the flu shot...</p> <p>Has this happened to anyone? Did your infant end up with the flu? </p>
