@NorthStar: The antagonist protocol worked for me. I had 11 mature follies, 8 fertilized normally and 6 made it to freeze (2 transferred). I hope it works for you too!

Totally different protocol. Last time, we did lupron and BCP's and then after BCPs, gonal F and menopur. This time, we are doing an antagonist protocol, so no lupron and higher dosages of gonal F and menopur. I also started ganirelex this morning because one of my follies yesterday was 15mm. On a positive note, I had a fairly large bleed this morning and hoping that cleared up the fluid in there. I'm at least feeling more hopeful now!

oh - and I know that there are great success rates in freezing. As many can relate, we have been in this process for so long that I don't want to wait another month, but also understand that might give me the best chance. Plus, if we do a FET, I will have to do PIO. ick!

Are you doing the same protocol this time, or a little different? I have seen best freeze outcomes with slower growers in smaller numbers. But it really varies hugely across people. I've never heard of fluid in the lining before! Good luck!

I am currently in my second round of IVF and yesterday, on day 7 of stims, had an ultrasound and bloodwork. I had 6 measurable (over 10mm) and many smaller. Hoping they have time to catch up and continue to grow. However, I had fluid in my lining and if that doesn't go away, they will not do a fresh transfer since they will not transfer into fluid (which makes complete sense).

I'm SO scared, though, because we didn't get any to freeze last time, so we aren't guaranteed to get any this around. It doesn't seem too common, but the nurse says high estrogen can cause it.

Has anyone ever experienced this?
