We boarded early during family boarding and ended up being on the plane an extra 45 minutes than if we had just waited until the end of boarding. It wouldn't have mattered because our seat was ours and we didn't need overhead bin space. PBS Kids has a free app with lots of shows. With your DH and your parents there, you have plenty of entertainment and help. I just flew yesterday and the antics some my fellow passengers got up to because an infant was crying were embarrassing. You are allowed to be on the plane. Your baby is allowed to be on the plane. Don't let selfish people bully you into thinking that if your child is energetic, inquisitive or scared, you (or your baby) are doing something wrong. We mothers are made to feel like we are constantly doing something wrong.
