We did the same with low key EC at an early age and a flight around 16 months. I can't remember what we did! I think we just put her in a diaper since the flight was 10+ hours. But we followed the regular potty routine so we were not dependent on the diaper. It was just back up. Also, have you seen those underwear that have PUL sandwiched between two layers of fabric? We used them as first underwear and they were great. We kept her in pull ups when we went out until *we* were comfortable that she wouldn't have any accidents while we were out. She never did. Keep your potty routine similar and take her potty often. (I know! Don't hate me. We followed the same process with my son and he wasn't at this point until 20 months!) She's gone 4 days w/o any accidents at home. In fact, she hasn't had any since we started going full time diaper free on Monday. We haven't ventured out yet, but she is doing great! The problem: we're flying in 2 weeks for a 4 day trip. (If I had my way, we would've done this after, but this has entirely been her call.) Any advice for traveling with a 15 month old newly potty trained kiddo? Anyone else crazy enough to have done this before?
