What about grabbing one of those and then wrapping your frame in a blanket if you're concerned about damage? It is still free to check it before going through security but if you want to gate check it you will be fine going through security. I saw someone with a gate check bag and thought that was a good idea. I can't survive the airport without my stroller.<br /> I'm flying with my three kids (ages 5, 3, 1) and I'll be 20 weeks pregnant, in August. I'll babywear onto the plan but I need the stroller to lug all the carry ons. Yeah I think we'll be okay without the stroller in the terminal since LO will only be 3.5 months old so still pretty small and easy to carry in the Ergo. We've always gate checked our strollers (a BOB, an UB Cruz and a UB G-lite) and never had any problems. If you want to be extra careful I know that UB sells a travel stroller cover that comes with an assurance that if your UB is damaged in transit while using the cover they will replace/fix it. It has a few scratches on the sides but heck we probably put some on there ourselves when we load it in the car etc. You could always check the bassinet/attachments. It's HUGE and heavy as eff, but had no problems gate checking it. Everything arrived on the other side just fine. However, they do mistaken the large bag as a checked bag and it's 50/50 you'll get it back at the gate.
