I don't know what the &#34;primary caregiver&#34; aspect is.... I've never seen that in relation to FMLA. maybe that's a state-based phrase?

Every state is different too as to what it will provide on top of the federal leave. I live in CA, and for example, here both partners get 12 weeks short term disability
