You're doing just fine :) you can totally put them in a bouncer and let them watch you do chores or lay outside together on a blanket. Talk to LO, make feedings and diaper changes things you're both doing, do tummy time. Other than that I wouldn't stress...as LO gets older it gets more interactive. I remember worrying that I wasn't like, doing the right thing in the 10 minutes she was awake and not crying as a newborn. I think we just mostly stared at each other, and I would say weird formal things like - oh hello there. I try to smile, sing, and chat with my boy, but i don't know that its getting through to him and if I was him I'd be pretty bored!! Any advice on things to do with a young baby during awake time? </p>
