When DS was 3, he had a huge bout of throwing up in the middle of the night, and we thought maybe it was the stomach flu, but by morning he was 100% fine. She ate more than usual &amp; still nursed before bed. Plus she was sleeping on her stomach, which she just started to do. For what it's worth, at that age DD threw up pretty often after eating bananas. No rash, no stomach problems, no reaction if she got a tiny bit of banana with something else, so we thought it's probably not an allergy. We'd just wait a couple weeks and offer banana again. Sure enough, no allergy - it seems she just had trouble with the texture and it would come back up if she didn't chew well enough. The 1st incident was the second or third time she'd had hardboiled eggs around 8mos old, I'm guessing. She vomited within an hour or two the first time &amp; many hours after the next time she ate eggs with no other symptoms of allergy or unrelated illness. It was on looking back after the 2nd incident I noticed the correlation to having had eggs. She's also done this twice after eating shrimp. At a year old I kind of forced her to eat a finger tips worth of peanut butter for a few days in a row to see if she would react and she never did. But at about 20 months she ate some mini ritz peanut butter crackers and she threw up several times a few hours later. She never got any hives. Eggs! He had scrambled eggs on thursday for the first time and a pancake made with eggs on Sunday. I took him to the pediatrician for the allergy test on Thursday even though I KNOW they think I was being crazy and that it was probably “just a stomach bug” BUT, it was just too coincidental for me! I just can’t get behind a stomach bug that causes him to throw up on Sunday...be totally fine for several days and then throw up a bunch on Thursday (a few hours after eating the eggs and until his stomach was empty)...after eating eggs both times! Anyway, I find out the results next week hopefully! Started with a small rash around her mouth. And then it turned into puking after eating eggs, but it would take awhile, like and hour or more later. And it would be puking until her stomach was completely empty. We had a blood test done and it showed an allergy to egg whites. ( I have heard these are not all that accurate). But we avoid any egg whites, unless baked into something then we are ok. She’s been eating solids for about 6 weeks via baby led weaning. She loves scrambled eggs &amp; has had them multiple times (more than 5). She had them tonight for dinner (6pm) now, 3 hours later she just woke up &amp; had thrown up a ton. She seems totally happy once we got her cleaned up &amp; is nursing now. Could totally be a virus, but no other symptoms. I have no experience with food allergies but is this how they could potentially start? I’m going to call pediatrician in the morning. </p>
