I didn't worry about it and sure enough at a year she was really into solds. We switched to cold WCM in a sippy so she didn't drink a ton like with bottles.

I've found that she is making the transition all on her own. At 10 months ol she is eating three good meals a day, (or 2 good ones, one lame one and a snack) and has back to 3-4 nursing sessions a day. I figure by 12 months she'll be down to a morning and night nurse, and she totally LOVES food.

Is my motto! And we're having so much fun!

But what happens when they turn one? How did you make the transition to more solids? Did you offer less breast/formula and more cow's milk?
