She's only 8.5 months and I definitely don't think she knows what she's doing, but it's such a pain! We're doing BLW so she has big strips / chunks of food on her tray. She'll pick something up, chew on it, lean her arm over the side, pick something else up with her other hand and drop the first thing. Am I doing the wrong thing by giving her food back to her a million times? She does it from the very beginning of the meal so I don't think she would get any solids if I didn't have a 5 second rule. I mop the floor under her highchair like crazy, both to clean up from the messy meal and to keep it sanitized so I can feed her off it. Am I encouraging bad behavior? </p>
