Ginger. I tried to use ginger drops and ginger tea during the first tri and they did not help at all. I had to hide them because just looking at them would make me gag. I accidentally ate a gingerbread cookie during Christmas time and it was awful. I get grossed out just thinking about it!

@lamariniere: Me too. It's the residual smell after cooking and even a regular wash of the plates/bowls that gets me. I have to scrub anything with egg on it pretty much immediately after cooking/eating it and then it goes into the dishwasher, sometimes followed by a vinegar rinse. That lingering egg smell was something I never noticed before, but oh man, it's sickening.

Morning sickness ruined banana smoothies, devilled sausages, nachoes, subway (even the smell of a subway store makes me want to throw up)and ginger ale. I can't eat any of these any more.

the only thing I developed an aversion to during pregnancy was avocado. Which was a terrible shame imo because I really wanted to love it and eat it. Prior to getting pregnant I literally ate avo toast every morning for breakfast. Now 10 months post partum I finally looked at an avocado and said "let's do this"
And it was amazing.

I used to love Indian good. Could. Not. Stand it. During my first pregnancy. After that I like it fine but it's not my favorite still. Yet I could still eat it ok during my second pregnancy.

I think that's it really.

I bought a box of oatmeal at the grocery store thinking it sounded good this weekend. I cooked it this morning and took my first bite...UGH!!!! It brought back lots of awful memories of forcing down oatmeal trying to up my supply while nursing.

What foods can you no longer eat after pregnancy or nursing?
