At 9dpo I knew I was pregnant this time. I felt very dizzy, kind of like I had low blood sugar, even though I had just eaten breakfast. That was a very common symptom for me with LO #1. But I haven't felt it since and have no other symptoms.

I put that I didn't have any till after, but it's not 100% true. I noticed the night before I tested that my boobs looked bigger (I wound up going up a whole size in the very brief time I was pregnant). I felt EXACTLY like AF was coming, so I actually only tested because I wanted to take advil for my back (in retrospect, the back pain was a symptom) and figured it was better to be certain that I wasn't KU. I was so convinced that AF would be there any second that it was a huge shock to get a positive, even though we were trying! I was looking for the super sore boobs and things that other people talked about, but I never had that.

Also, within a few days after that, I started getting the insane hunger that stayed with me right up until the m/c. I was constantly STARVING. I figure that's going to be the symptom I look for first this time around.

My face went from dry to an oil slick the DAY I got pregnant. Couldn't understand why but its been oily this whole pregnancy. We were TTC but I didn't relate it with being pregnant because I thought it was too early. Apparently not!

Also more exhausted than I would have been from my period and cramping that didn't quite feel like menstrual cramps. That's all I had before my period was due and I tested.

I had crazy sore boobs earlier than what's normal for me in my cycle. And I was SUPER bloated. Like... crazy bloated.

I had insanely sore boobs..never had that while pmsing. They got bigger. The most random thing that happenedto me was constant burping and acid reflux...that was before I was even a day late. The thing that made me want to test was the crazy amount of bumps all over me areolas. I was what like 4 weeks or less than that because my period was Nov 1. I tested positive November 29.

I had some light implantation bleeding. I was also extra tired, like I would crash out and take a 3 hour nap, which was NOT normal. My boobs were super sore, and I had an intense sense of smell.

I was exhausted (going to bed at 11 pm..I'm a 12:30/1am gal), and I was eating a TON (like, 2 full lunches 3 hours apart, etc). The regular PMS-y types of symptoms didn't really kick in, but man, I was devouring everything in sight, and couldn't finish a glass of wine or a cocktail if I tried (I was on vacation).

I MIGHT'VE felt implantation cramping during the TWW, but it was such a mild twinge that I didn't even take note of it until AFTER I got the BFP, and then I was like "Oh, maybe that's what that slight sensation was!"

All other symptoms didn't occur until 6+ weeks!

With DS the day AF was due I started to have very sore breasts. DH jokingly said I was pregnant, but I didn't think much of it until later that day. I tested and sure enough he was right.

With this baby I had absolutely no symptoms until well after my BFP. I didn't test until I was 6 weeks and I don't think symptoms started until 9-10 weeks in.

Sounds like sore boobs is the most common early symptom. I already have a real problem with that when I'm PMS'ing so I guess I'll just have to be patient and test : ) Thanks for all the feedback!

I had symptoms but I also had symptoms during BFN cycles too. The different symptoms for me were hyper-emotional (like I got teary-eyed looking at my DH and our puppy together) and cramps, which I never got with PMS. The ones that I almost always had each cycle were tired, irritated, frequent urination.

I had tried for so many cycles that I stopped testing early and only tested either on the day my period was due or on the day after if it was late.

Good luck!

My biggest, and probably most ignored symptom, was sore boobs. They felt like they were on fire when I went to afternoon tea with my friends. I really didn't think anything of it. During that weekend, I didn't wear a bra because it was more comfortable. I honestly didn't put much stock into it because they hurt alot before in PMS. It wasn't until my implantation bleed that I thought I could "maybe" be pregnant. It took another day before I decided to test to a faint positive.

I didn't feel any noticeable symptoms during the TWW. I was completely convinced that I wasn't pregnant, even when I was a couple of days late. It turns out that I actually did have a couple of very minor symptoms, but I didn't recognize them until I knew I was pregnant. I was having some cramping, but they felt slightly different from my normal period cramps -- more like little twinges. Also, I never got my normal PMS headaches that month, which is probably b/c my hormone levels were skyrocketing instead of falling.

I didn't feel symptoms of any kind until well into the 6th week. In hindsight however, it occurs to me that pregnancy may have had something to do with my poor mood for the weeks before that. haha. I was terrible to be around! But I got nausea at 6 weeks and finally believed that I was pregnant.

I felt no symptoms until 9 DPO - I just felt "off" that day (I wasn't planning to test yet). My body felt funny, I felt disoriented, and bloated. I took a test on a whim that night and received my BFP. But other than feeling "off" I felt no other symptoms.

For both my pregnancies, my boobs got really sore a few days before my period would come. In fact, with my second pregnancy I told my husband that I didn't think I was pregnant that cycle because my boobs weren't sore. Then, the next day I woke up and they were sore and I told him I thought I WAS pregnant. A week later I took a test and I was right- pregnant!

I used to drink a glass of wine with dinner almost every night, but all of a sudden, wine became very unappealing.
The ultimate reason I took a preg test was because I go to pilates class almost every day, and for a couple weeks I was incredibly exhausted during class and couldn't push myself, but couldn't figure out why.
Good luck :)

So I think those of us that are trying to get pregnant are hyper sensitive to changes in our bodies during the TWW because we are constantly hoping to feel early pregnancy symptoms. But it's my understanding that most symptoms don't actually start until closer to 4 or 5 weeks, when you would have already had a BFP. So for those of you that are or have been pregnant... did you feel symptoms during your TWW? Or not until after you had already had a positive pregnancy test.
