My favorite brands of wetbags are Itzy Ritzy's Wet Happened ($18) and Plant Wise in Medium ($17). I've never had an issue with stink when we are out and about and you just wash the wetbags like you do your pail liner and diapers.

Oh good question! When my sister was a baby, mom always used a grocery bag until we got home (although if it was a longer day out, she used disposables). I figure we'll do the same unless we are gifted with a wet bag.

@artbee: The only ones I saw were $30 and that just seemed like a lot to pay for something to hold dirty diapers.

We use wet bags too... a nice advantage to cloth is that the thick cloth hides the poop smell much better than disposables do. Don't forget to take care of the diaper when you get home though...speaking from nasty nasty experience here ;)

@themcmom: how much are wet bags? I got mine as a gift from someone who doesn't have a lot of money so I can't imagine she spent a lot on it.

I use a grocery bag. Sometimes a ziplock bag as well put into the grocery bag.

We really found that breastfed poop wasn't very stinky at all. You zip it up into a wet bag and you could have the wet bag on the dinner table with you and it wouldn't smell at all. (I mean, there are probably other reasons you wouldn't want to do that, but smell isn't prohibitive)

We use doggy bags (the trash bags for doggy waste) then into the wet bag and then when we get home we spray them off and they go into the wash. We haven't had too many issues with smell but we just started more solids.

We also use the Grovia hybrids and biosoakers if we think that packing the cloth back won't work so well.

We use a grocery store bag because the wet bags were just expensive for what they were. Maybe we'll get one once Wombat starts solids and the poo is more stinky.

Yep, I have a wet bag. We've never had an issue with the smell, but there is something that you can spray on there if you're worried.

Also, we use disposable liners so we just lift the poo off and flush them, no poo mess.

You use a wetbag. It's a zippered waterproof/airtight bag that goes inside your diaper bag, and the dirty diapers go in there. When you get home you can just dump the bag into the wash, turn the wetbag inside out, and throw it in the wash too.

What happens when you are spending a long day away from home. How do you store the poopy diapers till you get home? I keep thinking no matter how you store it, people will be able to smell the poopy diapers in your diaper bag??
