Had no problems with items being marked "Purchased"..even when a friend didn't purchase it on Amazon she was able to go our registry and mark that it was purchased elsewhere.</p> <p>HOWEVER.. the returns are an entirely different story. Because we had the items shipped to my mom's house (since we work all day &amp; can't open the door for UPS), when we wanted to return the items, UPS will only pick it up at my mom's house. I chalked it up to being a fluke technical issue.<br /> Someone purchased the a&amp;a blankets i registered for and i guess it didnt show immediately. Someone else bought the same ones the same day. A friend of mine recently went to a baby shower and purchased the gift off of the Amazon registry, but she said it never marked it as purchased. I assume this was a fluke, but did any of you experience this or something similar? I really want to register on Amazon but this would be a definite negative! </p>
