Both DH and I have very intense careers with long work hours. I will also be switching to a new job just after our first baby is born. On top of all of that, pregnancy has been a lot tougher on me that I could have imagined, since the nausea never went away after the 1st trimester. Given all of those considerations, we think it will be best for our family if we wait a little longer before trying for #2. I don't want to rush just to keep the age gap small. I feel like there is no guarantee that the siblings will be close even with a small age gap. Not a good reason, but I'd also like to wait till she's potty trained so I don't have to buy another set of cloth diapers. And I'd like to lose weight first. I was overweight when.
