But it caused a lot of anxiety for both of us. He didn't think it would bother him, but once it was a reality he was a bit uncomfortable with it. I would have much preferred a nurse to come by! I highly recommend them up on the hip as those seemed to hurt the least. When I was pregnant with DD they denied the request and I used progesterone suppositories. I went to my ob office and had them do it. DH said he would but I didn't want him to. I had to pay for the nurse visits at the office but it was worth it to me. I was planning on having DH give me the shot? However, I got note from my insurance company that they approved a nurse to come to my house every week to give me the shot.
