This is my second Mirena, and I plan to take it out in 12-15 months. It's worth it not to have to remember to take a pill at the same exact time everyday for a year. I still haven't gotten an actual period but I've had a few times where I had light spotting for like an hour. I breastfed exclusively until like 3.5 months and then mostly until about 5.5 months. My LMP was June 22nd, 2011. I gave birth April 3rd, 2012.... and still havent had a period. I didn't BF either. </p>
