I ended up having an under medicate thyroid condition that I found out was the problem after conceiving. We did a year of acupuncture that really helped regulate my cycles and it was SO worth the time and money in my opinion. After 3 years of trying to figure it out I got pregnant. I'm holding my amazing 6 day old baby girl as I type. In September 2011 I started seeing an acupuncturist on a regular basis. I was under the care of an endocrinologist and we waited for a while (and she actually had us stop trying for about 4 months) and my thyroid ended up regulating itself and once I had regular levels for about 4 months I got pregnant. The other tried for a year with various issues (uterine polyps, PCOS), 1st round of IVF failed, 2nd round took and she miscarried at 8 weeks. They stopped ttc and went on vacation and bam pregnant. Baby is a year. I made an appointment at the start of August (cycle 13) and I wasn't able to get in to see my preferred doctor until the end of September. I know every doctor's office is different, just my two cents.</p> <p>Now I'm in the midst of taking a month off, waiting to see the doctor and get some answers....secretly hoping that our month off results in a BFP without medical intervention. </p> <p>I wish it could happen naturally. He suggested Clomid + IUI + progesterone supplements the next month, and it all failed. We were going to go for IUI #2, so I started the Clomid as planned. DH had a last minute work trip to Europe over the time I was to ovulate and do the IUI. I was so burnt out and not willing to risk another failure AND miss a trip to Europe, so we decided to skip the IUI and go to Paris for a few days. Totally got pregnant in Paris and now have a little "baguette" in the oven.
