Yes! My breasts were very sore when I first started taking them. I also felt nauseous and had some headaches. I started them at 12 weeks and I'm actually still on them (at almost 32 weeks). I'm hoping I'll get to stop them once I reach full term!

YEs!! boobs were really tender when I was on Prometrium. The month I got pregnant, I actually didn't take the prometrium, but they were a different sore. More sore in the front rather than on the sides.

I was on Crinone progesterone suppositories and they definitely gave me sore/tender boobs and loads of other pregnancy symptoms, like bloating and exhaustion. I had the side effects both when I was pregnant and on cycles when I wasn't...Good luck!!!

I was on progesterone while TTC and I remember my boobs being a little tender.

I am now pregnant and on progesterone for 21 days (I'm only in my 5th week of pregnancy) and it makes me tired, boobs ache and dizzy.

Hope this helps you :)

My boobs DID hurt a lot, very tender! But I didn't attribute it just to the progesterone since I used them during my 1st tri. Could explain it though! I had to wear sports bras all the time to help! Best of luck!

@TurtleDoves: Thanks! :) I am trying not to symptom spot because I have been disappointed in the past. Plus it's so early that I think it has to be the Progesterone! But I hope you are correct!

Hmm, I only took them during the first trimester so I can't distinguish pregnancy symptoms from supplement symptoms. But now I'm wondering if progesterone is the reason for so much nausea or if it would have happened anyway...

They didn't bother me, but I know they can mimic pregnancy type symptoms!

YES! Like MGG said, Progesterone basically mimics and emphasizes normal pregnancy symptoms. I had morning sickness with my pregnancy that was mild, but with progesterone supplements it became HORRIBLE and unbearable....because progesterone makes pregnancy symptoms much stronger.
The stuff works though:) Good luck with everything!
p.s: from my experience as well as many others' experiences, boobs are the first sign. So, you never know:)

The supplements mimic all the pregnancy symptoms. It's so annoying (but obviously everything is due to hormones). Good luck!

Yes! I found both tenderness and swelling to be side effects (though my supplements were oral and injected). I found those symptoms stuck around until I stopped taking them at around 8 weeks. Because I got pregnant the same cycle I started taking them, I can't be sure how much was because of the progesterone, but the timing made me blame the supplements, and my ob said that they were likely to blame.

Yepp!!! I was on progesterone supplements every month while TTC in suppository/pill form and once I got pregnant I was on progesterone in oil injections and my boobs always hurt SO much worse than before!

Hi! For those of you who took some type of Progesterone supplement, did your boobs hurt? I am taking Progesterone suppositories (fun, huh!) for the first time this month. I woke up this morning to very sore boobs and especially nipples. I am only 4 DPO so I don't think it could be pregnancy symptoms yet. What was your experience?
