Even though bf diapers don't smell, it's the pee ammonia smell that gets to me. We use medium sized planet wise wet bags for dirty cloth diapers which i empty every other day. It's all on the same floor and the kitchen garbage goes out every second day at least. Our disposables just get tossed in a plastic bag next to the changing table that we throw out every 2-3 days, once it gets full. The changing table is in bedroom, and you can't smell anything. The trash can has a lid and really keeps the smell in. I've heard the diaper genie is too small to use with CDs... but are regular trash cans enough to keep the odor out while we use disposables? </p>
