You can pet or play with the dog, you can't really do that with babies. She's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and is so approachable, lovable and friendly :) She always has a wagging tail and loves everyone... My dog is soooo friendly. I don't think I've ever heard him growl. He loves the attention, and he's a licker so people usually love getting kisses! We take him to dinner (we usually eat outside) and go to arts and craft fairs, etc. With a baby and a dog, we always seem to get a lot of attention. </p> <p>But people always seem to favor the dog. He gets sooo much more attention then our baby. Which is good, my LO hates attention from strangers and it makes her cry. Of course they always do end up ohhhing and awwwing over the baby, but that's after they've spent 15 minutes petting our dog.</p> <p>Anybody else notice this? </p>
