The 7am one is really warm-- spending tons of time outside in the winter could make it really worthwhile for you but I was only borrowing it so I can't speak to how well it holds up. JJ Cole bundle-me's are great, they wash and hold up really well but they certainly aren't as warm. I see that they have an arctic version now but there aren't any photos of how well the hood cinches down and it looks pretty bulky whereas the 7am compresses pretty well so you can sort of redistribute bulk. I know JJ Cole is really popular, as is 7 AM--which of those is better, if either? </p>
