During labor my mom, dad , sister, SIL, and DH were in the room. For pushing it was just mom, sister and DH. I will probably have it the same way for the next one, or possibly just DH. I was induced for my son and my step mom is a nurse and I wanted her there for extra support since DH hates hospitals and gets really anxious. I have no intentions of having my MIL in the room ever. She is too intense and overbearing. But after going through it all once, my next baby I will invite my mom and MIL in there. </p>
