I did. Green poop and hungry all the time (but small meals) was my main sign. The lactation consultant had me feed on one side every two hours. No matter how many times LO ate during that 2 hours, it was on the left side, then on the right for the next 2 hours. It cleared up in about 2 days.

@Mrs. High Heels: she takes herself on and if I try to offer it again she refuses and then will start to get angry and cry. So...I am assuming she's done! I offer it later also before a nap to see if she might want it, but usually she doesn't. And yes, haven't done the pumping yet, but going to try that until I can get an appt with a lactation consultant!

@ellewoods84: How do you know she's completely done after 5 minutes? Does she end up falling asleep? Around that age I would tickle DS's ears, cheeks, feet to try to keep him awake enough to feed for at least 15-20 minutes. But if she's really not interested in feeding after 5 min, I'm not sure what I'd do!

Another thing I did was that I would actually pump for a few minutes before each feeding, and then start feeding DS from the boob. That way you get more of the foremilk out, and then DS can get to the hindmilk sooner?

@Mrs. High Heels: Yeah, we have only been nursing one side for like.....at least 10-11 weeks! She's 15 weeks old now. But, she only nurses for like 5 minutes on that one side, so I think she might be filling up on that fore milk. But, despite only feeding on that one side for so many weeks, I still feel pretty full between feedings. Might need to feed from same side for 2 feedings in a row. Not sure and I am scared to try! I don't want my supply to go down too much.

Yes, I had oversupply and then started noticing his poops were green! What I did was, instead of having him nurse both sides in one feeding, I'd alternate. So I'd have him on just my left boob for the entire feeding, then the next time I fed him, he'd only get my right boob. That helped ensure that he was getting all the fatty hind milk too, and pretty much resolved the issue.

Anyone ever deal with this? If so, what symptoms lead to this diagnosis? My daughter was diagnosed with silent reflux, the meds don't really seem to make a difference. Now, they are saying possible MSPI, but not sure if this is really the problem either. I have always had a bit of an oversupply, but I thought it was under control....but maybe not? I am going to try to make an appointment with a lactation consultant, but in the meantime, just trying to get some information!
