@bisous: awesome! Glad it helped! Massage any hard lumpy spots when you pump today and apply warmth (warm wash cloth should work). If possible you may want to avoid underwire bras until you know you don't have any plugged ducts.

@MamaCate: @owlmom: @owlmom: @78h2o: @Seattlemom: thanks everyone!

Store opens at 10 am, but I woke up engorged. Not sure whether I am happy because my body still knows to make milk or scared about a plugged duct! So pathetic, but I never learned how to hand express. No better time than the present!!

I tried to encourage my daughter to wean when she was 18 months and nursing twice a day. We went 3 days without nursing and then started doing both sessions again, and continued to for 2 more months. I didn't have a supply problem when we resumed, but I did get engorged during the 3 days (no plugged ducts, though). I hope it works out for you!

@bisous: when we were doing am/pm only, there was at least a 24-36 hour period once or twice when LO refused to nurse for whatever reasons. I was so worried about my supply but she resumed and we were bake to pick back up. Hope the same is true for you! I hope getting supplies in the morning should cover it fir you!

So we are finally taking a short trip without our 14 month LO. I am currently breastfeeding LO at wake up and bedtime and sometimes weekend naps. I was planning to pump at least once a day at night while away.

Just realized I forgot some pump parts. 9:30 on a Sunday night is not a convenient time to realize this! I can run to Babies r Us tomorrow, but has anyone gone a couple days without pumping or nursing without supply problems (and/or plugged ducts)?

We are probably going to stop nursing soon, but I was hoping for it to be on her terms!!
