Mine was like $200 not on sale.<br /> I liked my procedure...Didn't love it...but that's only because I compared it to the formaldehyde treatment (Japanese straightener) that I usually do.<br /> It's nice though....it made my hair super soft....much less frizz...and overall super-easy to take care of and maintain during postpartum.<br /> I did it at 37w exactly. I smelled/inhaled NOTHING. I'd be worried about reacting weirdly to something brand new and having an itchy scalp or having it weaken my hair (especially because postpartum hair loss freaks me out!). I guess I'd also want to know what was in the formula and not take their word that it was safe if you are hesitant about it already! I got an email saying they have a new no-formaldahyde one, and I got excited and called and they said it's safe for pregs.</p> <p>It's normally $350, which I'd never pay, but tomorrow it's $175. It lasts 6 months. It all sounds glorious, especially since I'l have a new baby in roughly a week and will not want to fix my hair ever I'm sure...</p> <p>But I'm still nervous...Have you guys heard this no-formaldahyde version is safe in pregnancy? </p>
