We were shocked at the primary ingredients in some.</p> <p>FWIW we use similac advance powder and the kids have had no trouble at all. I admit that I used Similac because it was provided by the hospital, and I had received samples at home (convenience). He said we should always call him before switching brands. I was planning on breastfeeding so I didn't do any formula research ahead of time and knew nothing about it, so I just felt better getting their opinion on it. We used the Similac initially and then switched to Enfamil (my sister works for a doctor's office and gave me some of what they got so we ended up not having to buy any).
