But, he ended up getting constipated, so we had to go back to formula again. It took a few weeks, but his constipation finally resolved. We had to slightly warm her milk for about a week and she did still get some in a bottle. Within 10 days we were rid of the bottle and warming. He's 11 months today and is jjust starting to drink a couple ounces a day of milk. After he turns one, I'll start limiting his formula bottles so he'll drink more milk during the day. Hopefully, this will also wean him off bottles at the same time and he'll be completely transitioned by 13 months. After a week or so we stopped the formula altogether. I did keep his night time bottle half formula for another month or so just to keep up our routine and to use up the rest of the formula we had. </p> <p>It really was not as big a deal as I thought it was. We just switched from bottles to cows milk in a sippy. The first day she didn't drink that much, just a few sips at each meal and I figured I'd give her another day before going back to a slower transition.
