@septca: @loveisstrange: @Smurfette: Thanks - I'll try oxyclean!

@looch: I didn't spend any time on the regular formula stains before because they were mostly whitish. But they are on a new formula that's more yellow and it's leaving a lot more color on the clothes. I'm planning on passing down all their clothes to my sister, so I'm hoping to keep them in somewhat good shape!

I could never get them out, what's even worse is the phatom stains, where you don't realize that they are even there until after you've already washed and dried the clothes and they're set in.

I will be honest, I never spent too much time on stain removal, because none of my son's clothes were precious the first six months, it was sleepers that got donated when he outgrew them for this exact reason.

Blue Dawn, let set, then do an Oxyclean Free soak, then wash.

If all else fails, you can "sun" the stains out, but I find that the blue Dawn + Oxyclean formula works really well for milky, fatty stains.

Anyone have a sure fire way of getting formula stains out of clothes? We supplement and are dealing with a lot of spit up right now. The yellowish spit up residue around the neck of my LOs clothes is driving me crazy! How do you deal with formula stains?
