It converts from harness to high back booster, to regular booster. It harnesses to 65 lbs, which was the problem for us with a lot of the harness to booster seats. Many only go to 40 or 50 lbs, which wouldn't keep our son harnessed long enough. So we need to get a second car seat for my husband's new Toyota 4 runner. It doesn't have to be fancy at all, just an extra seat to use when she rides in his car, which is not very often. We will also be using it on a plane for a vacation this summer, so it needs to be light and easy to install in the airplane seat. My DD is 2 and we just flipped her forward facing. At her 2 year appt, she was 31lbs and 34 inches tall. </p> <p>Recommendations? Preferably under $100 and able to buy today at target (or Walmart if I have to. ) Thanks! </p>
