@hellobeeboston: yay!! yes bright red is good... it's probably from a tiny abrasion and you are just fine! nowhere near baby at all!!! SO funny that he kicked the sensor-- Lil Miss Wagon does that all the time! thump thump thump BUMP!

You ladies are so great - thank you.

Just leaving - the midwife was so sweet.... Baby boy is fine. As she was about to put the little doppler thing on the belly she could see him kicking, he started up as soon as i laid down - and he kicked the sensor square on at one point!

She thinks it's the cream I'm using causing the bleeding and to stop -- last YI I used Monistat 3, and this time I'm using the 7 day so she thinks something in the formula I different and irritating me. hopefully I can naturally prevent more of these - lots of yogurt for me!

It was scary because the blood was bright red (which she said was good) --- she asked if I wanted an internal exam, but I declined, I feel more reassured and the boy has been doing gymnastics since I saw her.

Definitely glad I went in... God, I'm such a worrying FTM! But that's ok -- better safe than sorry.

Thanks So much ladies - they called back and I am already in waiting to be seen. The triage nurse was so nice, I was crying like a nutter.... she thinks it's from the YI - but had me come in to check the baby, etc for peace of mind .... I will fill you in after!

Your cervix has a lot of blood flow going on right now and so you're probably just having some blood because of the irritation to the area from using the monistat. Try not to freak out! I'm a little behind you (almost 17 weeks) but I have had a few episodes of spotting and every time they've done an ultrasound and everything has been perfectly fine!! So while I know it's really hard try not to get too worked up.

@hellobeeboston: Just read this... any blood makes me nervous as well!! I had ZERO spotting and no mucus plug or bloody show with Wagon Jr. so spotting and things make me SUPER nervous this time around. Who knew a second pregnancy was actually harder and more stressful than the first!!

And one of the times I was waiting to be seen for a problem, I stressed myself out into a full hour of braxton-hicks contractions that seriously felt like I was going into labor. So try to relax!!! It is most likely NOTHING and the worst thing you can do for yourself now is to panic.

Oh sweetie... don't worry too much, the blood flow down there is increased because of the pregnancy so most likely you just have a little abrasion somewhere. I'm sure the monistat isn't helping either... probably irritating your skin as well. Many hugs to you as you wait to hear back from the Dr!!!

i am waiting to hear back from the doctors right now and they seem to be taking an ETERNITY to get back to me.

i'm 21 weeks - have a yeast infection - been using monistat 7 to treat -- last night was day 4 and it was really uncomfortable.. stung a bit.

so here i am today - i get into work and notice i'm bleeding - it's kinda watery - mixed in with the leftover cream (tmi, sorry)....

freaking out.

think it's related to the YI????
