I'm using them right now! :) I use them with the medela PISA. I ordered a set to take with me to work, I still use the traditional horns while pumping at home. I really like that the freemies are easy to hook up, you can use a regular bra so you don't have to change into a hands free pumping bra (I work while pumping), and they are quick to take off/store. They have allowed me to pump a few extra minutes because of the set up and break down time savings. My favorite part is ease whole driving. I pump on my commute, and while I had what I thought was a good system with the horns, the freemies are a thousand times easier and much more discreet. I haven't found a change in output, but I know some reviews I've seen mention decreased output at first until your body gets used to the difference in suction.

Ok I just spent 4 days without baby and for me they won't replace the horns but they are better in obvious situations where the horns wouldn't be practical.
We were snowmobiling so when we'd stop to warm up, I'd pump.
I loved that they were so discrete, I could get hooked up and pump while in a restaurant, but until I started taking them apart and making sure they were on perfectly (because they arent clear so you can't see if the nipple is pulled in correctly or if you let down) they didn't work well. Also I had to use a pumping bra over them to ensure they were tight enough without it they were not working well.
My output was less than with the horns but not by much.
I ended up using them all day and just using horns every night before bed, a motn session and an am session and I felt it was a good balance. I felt like although I pumped less with the freemie it wasn't enough less to drop my supply. I guess we'll see what LO thinks tonight :)

My doctor highly recommends them! I am interested in them but not sure they are worth the money since I will likely only pump a couple times a week. But after my doctor's rave review of them I really want them!

@delight: it might be worth contacting them to double check...I could certainly set mine up to just pump on one side, but I'm not familiar with the Medela Swing and it's connectivity.

These look really neat! I am planning to be done pumping at work soon otherwise I would definitely be looking into these. Something to keep in mind if we have another child though! I have a long commute and it would be great to make use of that time by pumping!

Wow these look totally awesome! I only have the single Medela Swing pump so it's not compatible. I'd love to be able to hands free pump because I have a 1.5 hour commute to work and it would be very helpful to pump in the car!

@lawbee11: I got 9.5 oz in one session this morning - 5.5 oz on one side and 4 on the other. I had some major engorgement going on from overnight and needed to pump ASAP when I got to work, so I pumped at my desk.

I haven't cleaned the tubing since I use it infrequently...I do see condensation in it though. There are three parts that I clean - collection cup, valve (similar to the Ameda valve), and another piece. I just throw them all in soapy water for a bit. Depending on your typical system, it is more work...you have to pour from the collection cup to a bottle or bag immediately. Today I did spill a little from the one with 5.5 oz just because it's hard to pour when it is that full - but this was the first time I ever spilled.

@danda: I was going to ask about the output. That's awesome that it's the same. Is cleaning the parts for the cups harder than cleaning the regular pump parts? We have a lactation room, too, but I could use these on my drive home and that would allow me to only have to pump twice while at work.

I do - found out about them when they got mentioned in a Kellymom Facebook post. I like them for any occasion in which it's easier to not take off my shirt, since the awesome selling point is that the collection cups fit in your clothes. So if you need to pump while driving, in a semi public location, or if you have guests over at your house and need to pump, for example.

At work we have a lactation room so I just use regular flanges since I have two sets of flanges and it makes my daily cleaning routine easier. But if that weren't an option I'd use the Freemie all the time.

I have pumped in my office (shared with a male coworker who is a dad and is understanding) while my coworker was present using the Freemie.

I have an Ameda pump and got the collection kit/adapter so I hook it up to my regular pump and get the same output.

I just stumbled upon these collection cups. They are compatible with popular pumps (PISA, Purely Yours). You connect them to the pump then slide them into your bra. So no need for a hands free pumping bra or all of the pump parts. Then you can pour the milk into bottles or bags. They look really awesome and seem like they'd be great for pumping at work, so I am really interested in them.

Anyone have these? If so, do you like them?
