Although we frequently eat tempeh and tofu, I've never tried to freeze it . . . wonder how it works?

How about freezing homemade bean burger patties?

I cook from scratch 5 or 6 times a week, but when we're desperate, I totally resort to frozen Kashi steam meals - some good veggie options, healthy, and best of all, super easy.

Great idea! I need to get on this... but first, I need to get on cleaning out our freezer :)

I checked out the "Don't Panic, dinner's in the freezer" books from my library. I like them because they're organized by main ingredient (pork, chicken, vegetarian) and they have side dish and dessert recipes you can freeze. I haven't made any of the vegetarian recipes, but the other ones I've tried all have really good flavor. I think out of the 7 or so recipes I've made so far, only one was really "blah".

ever seen the crockpot freezer meals? Just prep all the veggies and then throw it in the crockpot in the morning! I just pinned this recipe and it looks delish: http://www.savvyvegetarian.com/vegetarian-recipes/crockpot-chickpea-curry.php#

I have just about the same ideas on my list as you. The only other thing I have is quiche, which is supper easy to make and freezes well.

I was going to do a couple different pastas too-fettuccini alfredo, maybe some kind of pesto noodle. Tomorrow I am actually doing a big batch of stuffed shells.

I'm brainstorming my lists of freezer meals I can make for the later part of pregnancy when I'm too tired to cook and also of course for postpartum.
We're vegetarian, so that means I have to get a lot more creative! :)

So far I have TONS of freezable soup recipes (20, to be exact), but I'm kind of lacking on dinner recipes, main dish type of things.
I have the obvious ones like lasagna, meatballs, pizzas, burritos, enchiladas, veggie burgers, and stir-fry mixes, but I was hoping for a little more variety.

What are your favorite freezable recipes?
