turkey chili - delicious and healthy - also baked ziti and lasagna - both much less so, but yummy. also any typical chicken dish (chx marsala, chx parm, etc) I make, I now try to double and freeze half.

Mostly soup...I find that most freezer meals aren't very healthy (enchiladas, chili, casseroles), which frustrates me! I want to save time, too! I do have a meatball recipe where I freeze the sauce. Oh and chicken tikka masala, which is definitely a treat meal.

Doing this right now: lasagna, chicken enchilada, chili, chicken noodle soup, tuna casserole, tator tot casserole, cheesy potatoes, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, and I freeze veggies such as chopped onions, carrots, green peppers, celery to use for soups and spaghetti and crockpot roast and pork chops.

Make sure you mark date, most meats only have a 6 month cooked freezer life.

I freeze lots of batches - so cooked ground beef, shredded chicken, chopped fresh veggies, etc. Takes a lot of the prep work out!

OnceaMonthMom is a good one like @bluestripedbee said - or search pinterest for freezer meals.

Do you have a crockpot? This chicken cacciator freezes really well--just defrost and heat up and serve over pasta, rice or polenta: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/06/crock-pot-chicken-cacciatore.html

Martha Stewart has a great veggie enchilada freezer recipe that I make frequently. Lasagnas also freeze well. Whenever I make soups, I freeze leftovers for quick weeknight meals or lunches.

Here are things I'll usually freeze a batch of if I am making them: Tomato sauce, baked ziti or stuffed shells, chili, and enchiladas.

I've never tried freezer meals, but the more I read about them, the better the idea sounds! Anyone here make them? Have any recipes you want to share? I'm going to store them all away and use them when pregnant and waiting for baby to come.

Please share recipes and any tips you've learned along the way!
