My stash is very nearly depleted and I just barely pump enough in 5 sessions to cover E's 3 bottles. I couldn't take fenugreek, MMP, or drink the tea because they all gave E and I tummy issues. I'm having some luck with really focusing on breast compression while pumping and hand expressing after I pump. I always heard on here to hand express after pumping but figured it couldn't really be necessary. But I can hand express another quarter to half ounce after I pump, which is huge when every drop counts and it seems to be increasing my pumped output now too.

Try not to panic and just keep pumping as much as you can. If your LO will take formula then you might as well supplement until things pick back up. My supply dipped horribly when I had a stomach bug but it eventually picked back up. Some days are still better than others, but all we can do is the best we can right?!

@belleoftheballeI never thought about getting an RX, would i get it from my ob or PCP or DD's Ped?

@mrs. tictactoe we started DD on solids, she takes one cube of sweet potatoes.

Thanks ladies for all your support. I added an extra pumping session today at work. I hope I can build my stash back.

My freezer stash ran out around 5.5 months, so we started solids to help stretch the milk I was pumping and I also started waking up early to pump before he woke up. It worked! I was able to keep up pumping what he needed for the next day and build up my stash again (a little bit). Keep pumping and nursing and it should pick back up again.

Can you get a script for Domperidone? I've found that works for me.

@bunnylove08: How much are you able to pump in total per day? I think if you just keep up pumping your supply will boost up again. My supply goes down sometimes but then comes up again. I dont have a f reezer stash either

Its tough to see your stash depleted, and remember you are doing an awesome job already!! Pumping at work is not an easy feat :) I say just pump as much as you can to get that supply back up and use formula if you need to. Sounds to me like your LO might be going through a growth spurt, which will hopefully help boost your supply in the next week or so. Great work mama :)

Aww I'm sorry you have run out. It sounds like you still have a great nursing relationship, so maybe you can do formula during the day and then nurse when you are together?

So my freezer stash is pretty much gone. I only have about 9 ozs of milk in it. Its not enough for a full day of feeding. I had to give her baby sitter formula.

When I first started to pump I had over supply and it gave LO such bad gas. So I tried to regulate it and I had a normal supply. After going back to work my supply dipped but I was still able to stock up the supply. My DH commented on how our freezer over taken by breast milk.

So today we finally ran out. My supply took a really big hit because I was sick. LO has also been waking up at night and I've been doing dream feeds and when I pump in the morning i only get about 2 ozs. I've been drinking mothers milk tea, taking more milk, eating oatmeal, pumping more at night but nothing has really helped.

I'm not going to give up but if anyone has any advice or has been though the same thing please share your thoughts.
